About this product
Rendered for compositing, the 40 effects include floating dust, rising embers, sparks, falling snow, bokeh lights, confetti bursts, star fields and drifting glitter. Each comes as a 1920×1080 MOV with an alpha channel for layering over footage, and as a 3840×2160 MP4 on black for screen or add blend modes. Clips run 10 to 20 seconds at 30 fps, and the ambient ones loop.
Particle simulations are slow to build and heavy to render, so having them pre-rendered lets editors and motion designers add atmosphere to titles, product shots and event recaps by dropping a clip on the timeline. The After Effects projects rely on built-in effects only, which keeps emission rate, color and direction adjustable in a standard After Effects install.
